Endless Slideshow Screensaver has several options that allow you to control how a slideshow starts. These options are located in the [ Startup options ] section of the [ Slideshow ] tab:
If you select the [ Resume previous session ] option, Endless Slideshow Screensaver will continue showing your photos as if a slideshow was never interrupted. This means that you will not see pictures that were shown before until all your photos are shown and the slideshow has to start all over again.
If the [ Restart the slideshow from the very beginning ] option is selected, Endless Slideshow Screensaver will start every slideshow as if it is started for the first time. If you combine this option with a fixed list of photos from the [ My media files ] tab, you will see the first photo of the list every time the slideshow starts.
The [ Hide the initialization progress messages ] option allows you to suppress any text normally shown when the slideshow is being initialized. This text contains the folder scan progress messages, information about the wallpaper download progress, a number of found media files, and so on. If this box is checked, none of those messages are shown, and a slideshow starts with an empty black screen.
